Yu Seung Woo is back with his third mini album ‘Pit A Pat’ and the music video for his title track, ‘Whatever’, featuring Crucial Star.
The music video features Boyfriend’s Jungmin, Monsta X’s Kihyun and Eunseo, a future idol from a girl group called Cosmic Girls. It is believed that ‘Whatever’ is the prequel to his other music video, ‘You’re Beautiful’ where Kihyun and Jungmin are close friends and Seung Woo makes an appearance as a ghost.
In this music video, it seems that Jungmin and Kihyun are imagining themselves with Eunseo and what it would be like to have her as their girlfriend. However, it appears that Eunseo is Seung Woo’s girlfriend, causing the guys to be very down and a bit jealous. Towards the end, a loud crash is heard, and it seems that Seung Woo is fatally injured, as the three idols featured in the music video are seen wearing black, most likely attending his funeral.
‘Whatever’ is a smooth acoustic track, featuring Seung Woo’s amazing and beautiful vocals. A piano guitar tune makes the song even more relaxing to listen to. Crucial Star’s rap makes the song complete, his simple rap and soothing voice blending well with Seung Woo’s voice and the melody itself. Overall, it is a perfect song to listen to and definitely will be on replay!
