YG Entertainment had already announced BIGBANG‘s much awaited comeback for April, but after having it delayed so many times during the last two years, it was kind of hard for the fans to believe that this time was for real.
On a recent interview, though, the company’s CEO Yang Hyun Suk reassured the comeback confirmation and made some comments about the upcoming album that raised the fans’ expectations to a whole new level.
According to him, ““I’m kind of nervous to say this, but yesterday, I heard new songs created by BIGBANG. They were better than any other song created by BIGBANG so far. I was thrilled listening to their new songs. I was so excited to listen to BIGBANG’s music after a long absence.”
Having debuted in 2006, BIGBANG will complete 9 years in 2015, and this upcoming album will probably be the last they will release before completing 10 years. About this, Hyun Suk shared, “The new album will be the highlight of their 10-year career. Listening to their new songs, I thought this is why BIGBANG is BIGBANG, the eldest and best artist of YG. Not only the title song but also every other song is great.”
So many good comments coming from CEO Yang Hyun Suk, who’s known by being very demanding, certainly left fans even more excited for the upcoming comeback than they already were.
As an addition to the interview, BIGBANG changed the profile pic and the cover photo of their Youtube channel, showing the boys with their recent looks and hinting the concept of the new album.
