Yenny has been promising fans an intense and emotional ride since her solo debut as HA:TFELT was announced. The music video for the single “Ain’t Nobody” delivers on that and so much more.
Yenny has always been an integral part of Wonder Girls and her solo debut has shown a lot of promise. With this release and the previously talked about tracklist teaser, her status as a skilled singer, producer, dancer and performer has been solidified.
The song is emotional and grabs you right from the start. Using Yenny’s passionate singing and unrestrained, bordering on hysterical, dancing to tell the story of a woman who’s partner is in the act of cheating on her. Despite the strong and sharp emotional edge to the dancing, her talent and skill as a dancer shines through in every movement she makes, no matter how big or small they are.
Her voice and the music go perfectly together, weaving in to this intense and emotional experience with the well-shot music video. The song and video tell a story, as was expected from the information Yenny gave fans over the last few weeks, and it is a strong and touching one.
