Leader and rapper of the group SPEED, Woo Taewoon, has been reported to have left the group in the interest of going solo.
Taewoon began his pursuit as an underground rapper, working his way up to his position in SPEED. Part of his recognition comes from being the older brother of Block B’s Zico.
MBK Entertainment granted Taewoon his wish for a solo career after having expressed continued interest in pursuing one. Taewoon will be participating in season four of ‘Show Me The Money‘, and it is being reported that he has been practicing for the past few months.
Zico tweeted “Please show support for my brother’s new start!!” on the 25th of March, encouraging fans across the globe to continue to support his brother and at the same time, cheering Taewoon on.
SPEED plans to bring in another member as they prepare for a comeback, pushing forward without their leader.
