Speed is back with a new sound and new music video titled ‘What U.’ After a line-up change Speed is finally back on the K-Pop scene.
The group has a new sound that really highlights the talent of their vocal line that previously was often over shadowed by the rap line. They now have managed to strike a balance between the two and the result is awesome. The sound also has a strong drum-driven beat that would be prefect for a party or a drive around town.
There is another fact that I think can be said about Speed when it comes to choreography these guys are not afraid to push the envelope. They have always been some of the best , most adventurous and athletic dancers in K-Pop. This music video is perfect example as the choreography is done completely on ‘wheelies.’ In case you don’t know they are the shoes that have the wheels in the heel. The wheelies give the guys the look that they are floating so their transitions are just insane. I really do hope we get a dance version or at least a dance practice video. I would like to see the dance fully from start to finish.
