After much anticipation, Girls Generation have finally made their comeback appearance on the M Countdown stage! Before the show commenced Girls Generation’s official Facebook page updated their status acknowledging the performance and encouraging fans to watch!
The nine membered group performed the title track for their new mini album ‘Mr.Mr.‘ and followed the performance with the song ‘Wait A Minute‘ from the album as well. View both performances below!

A performance that seemed distant from their usual powerful and energetic stage presentations, Mr.Mr may have been undone by the lack of detail and color in the stage’s background and their unusual use of backup dancers. Although the girls displayed their multiple talents adequately as a group, there was no focus on Hyoyeon during the dance break that was expected by many Sone.

Reminiscent of their ‘Kissing You‘ performance ‘Wait A Minute‘ showcases the girls cute side with wardrobe choices to fit the song. Consisting of mainly hand movements during the choreography this performance provides a reminder of the more adorable side of Girls Generation.
