As we revealed earlier, SHINee revealed the comeback trailer for their long-awaited Korean comeback not long ago, and it appears, they’re not done driving us crazy just yet. Shortly after the first, we now have a second comeback trailer, which reveals a bit more information than the first, but not by much.
In the 20 second trailer, we get a view of the boys dropping into a pool, with a girl swimming along with them. Is it the same girl from the first clip? It’s difficult to tell. We can clearly make out Taemin, and perhaps a bit of an Onew and Minho, but the other two either aren’t there or can’t be clearly seen. The music has a definite 60’s vibe to it, and I’m anxious to see more.
Next, a series of teaser images were revealed, just to make us all drool a little bit more.
As you can tell, these images are very colorful, and each member appears to be sporting some form of unique contact lenses. This seems to be a concept that will be perfect for summer; what with the pool, the orange and yellow hues, the dance groove, and so on. But hang on to your hats, kids, because there’s even more information to digest.
According to SM Entertainment, their new song will be titled “View,” and it will be initially revealed through their upcoming concert in Seoul, “SHINee Concert SHINee World IV.” It’s to be an upbeat song of the house genre, which will definitely be interesting to hear. Not surprisingly, Jonghyun had a hand in the song’s creation, having written the lyrics himself.
The new album, “Odd,” is set to drop on May 18th, so stay tuned for more details! We at Officially KMusic are very glad that, after over a year, we can finally say, “SHINee’s Back!”
