The fan favorite prince on ‘Scarlet Heart: Ryeo‘ is turning into the fan favorite athlete in new stills from ‘Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo‘!
After the previous stills release of lead character Lee Sung Kyung, it’s time for her co star, Nam Joo Hyuk, to shine! The ‘Cheese in The Trap‘ stars have both been preparing for their roles. Joo Hyuk received nothing but praise from the staff: “It’s like Jung Joon Hyung came alive and walked out of the script.” Joo Hyuk is taking on the role of a traumatized genius swimmer who gets tangled up with and finds love in Sung Kyung’s character, weightlifter Kim Bok Joo.
The ever adorable Nam Joo Hyuk also released a statement stating “While I was preparing, I really wanted to hurry and start filming. I trained a lot for swimming, and I also studied to understand the mind of an athlete who is dealing with a trauma. I’m going to give it my all and try my best.”
For now fans will have to wait for the drama to see Joo Hyuk in his swim trunks as the stills are only of him on his bike.
The drama is set to be released after the end of ‘Shopping King Louie‘ in November!
