Worldwide K-Pop phenomenon MONSTA X have announced their upcoming 2nd English-language album, ‘The Dreaming’. Scheduled to be released December 10 through Intertwine (BMG) in collaboration with Starship Entertainment, pre-orders opened last Friday on the 22nd.
The sextet gave fans the first taste of the new album with their smash hit, ‘One Day’. Currently peaking at #32 in the US on Billboard charts, the song found further worldwide success, reaching #23 on the Australian iTunes charts. It marks the third entry into the 40 in the US, making them only the second K-Pop group to have ever made the top the 40 more than once. Releasing their 2020 English album, ‘All About Luv’, the group landed themselves in the top 5 of the Billboard 200 chart. This makes them only the 3rd K-Pop group to reach the top 10, as well as being one of the pioneers in releasing full English albums from acts in South Korea. Since then, they have been consistently doubling down efforts in releasing both Korean and English singles, yielding massive growth towards their global domination.
The latest track has been praised by numerous outlets. Being called a “heartfelt, soaring ballad, the kind that they do so well” by PAPER Magazine, it makes fans everywhere curious as to what comes next for the stacked talented group.
On October 21st, the group then revealed the track list to the new English album. Containing a total of 10 tracks it includes the following:

3. “Tied to Your Body”
4. “Whispers in the Dark”
5. “Blame Me”
6. “Secrets”
7. “About Last Night”
8. “Better”
9. “Blow Your Mind”
10. “The Dreaming”
To further their global impact, the members took a positive firm stance supporting the Black Lives Matter Movement. During a performance with TIME Magazine on their TIME100 talks, maknae I.M stated “As U.N. ambassadors for sustainable Goal 16 we stand for peace and justice…as such we have supported Black Lives Matter activism, and we believe that it’s time to acknowledge the issue and fix it.”
On the local front, the “You Can’t Hold My Heart” singers last toured Australia back in 2019 with their incredibly successful “2019 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR ‘WE ARE HERE.” Their presence has left a lasting impression, with their 1st English album, ‘All About Luv’, and 8th Korean EP, “Fantasia X” peaking as high as #3 on the Australian Music charts.
The most recent EP, 2021’s “One of A Kind” featured a total of seven tracks. For the first time, all tracks entered into Billboard‘s World Digital Songs Chart. With the title track, ‘GAMBLER’ reaching #5, the remaining tracks staying within the top 20. The growth experienced this year by the 6 year old group is truly showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.
