The press conference for SBS‘ upcoming drama “My Lovely Girl” was held on September 15th at 2 pm at SBS Mokdong HQ. If you were curious enough, you could have streamed it live on SBSNOW‘s YouTube Channel. For those who didn’t get to watch it, here’s a quick recap on what happened.
The press conference started with the director Park Hyung Ki, screenwriter Noh Ji Seol, actors Rain, f(x)‘s Krystal, Cha Ye Ryun, Infinite‘s L, BESTie‘s Haeryung, Park Yeong Gyu, and Kim Jin Woo entering the room and taking their seats in the front row.
After being introduced by the announcer, standing up and bowing when their names were called, a short clip of a performance by Infinite Power (MHDR), the drama’s fictional idol group who released their teaser pictures 4 days ago, was shown. The four members of MHDR were performing a remix version of Infinite’s track “1/3,” a song from their “Paradise” repackaged album. The remixed version is similar to the version done by fellow Infinite members Sungyeol and Sungjong during their special stage for Infinite’s One Great Step World Tour completed last year.
After the group’s performance video, teaser videos of Hyun Wook, played by Rain and Se Na, played by Krystal, were shown allowing us to see various spoilers for the drama, including sweet scenes such as Krystal and Rain giving a dog a bath as well as Krystal playing frisbee with the same dog at a beach. The clips, from possibly many episodes, depicts a romantic story line that viewers should anticipate.
The teaser videos stopped and the actors were called up to sit on the stage. The cast members walked across the stage individually and in pairs for pictorials and judging from the many flashes from the cameras, there was quite a lot of press, as expected at a press conference. The seven cast members gracing the stage were each handed a bag with accessories such as hats, shoes, and sunglasses. According to various fansites, the items were to be auctioned off for charity.
