With the end of the year fast approaching, many artists are gearing up for their year end concert extravagances; and Lee Seung Gi is no different.
The concert is scheduled for November 30 and December 1 and is being held at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena. This is the same arena that he has held his year end concert at since 2009. That’s quite the tradition he’s got going.
Lee Seung Gi’s Hope Concert—Happiness, Anger, Sorrow & Joy is one of many that will be happening during this time period; and with artists like Cho Yong Pil, Shin Seung Hoon, Lee Seung Chul, Yoon Do Hyun, and Park Jung Hyun also preparing for their year end concerts one can imagine that promoting one’s concert to get the crowd in is a big deal. But apparently not in the case of Lee Seung Gi. According to his agency, Hook Entertainment, as of yet they have not started promoting for the concert, but when opening day of ticket sales arrived they ended up with a big surprise.
According to Interpark, the online ticket reservation site, their weekly reservation rankings showed that Lee Seung Gi’s concert had “the greatest number of reservations on the opening day of ticket sales“. Definitely this deserves a tip of the hat to Lee Seung Gi’s popularity!
