Just a few weeks after making her historic comeback with ‘Breathe’ and ‘Hold My Hand’, Lee Hi is already back with a brand new music video!
‘My Star’ follows the cute and funny vibe of ‘Hold My Hand’, but kind of sounds like a 60’s song, like her famous song ‘1,2,3,4’. It’s extremely catchy and makes you smile from ear to ear.
The music video features 1PUNCH’s One (Jaewon) as Lee Hi’s boyfriend. In scenarios that have a kind of Meghan Trainor vibe, the couple goes on a date that starts with a film, goes through a concert and ends up in a very unexpected way. Check it out:
What did you think of Lee Hi’s new music video? It was my favorite out of the three, so colorful and bright! Not to mention that her expressions have improved so much, she barely seems like the shy girl from a few years ago.
Lee Hi also released the second part of her ‘Seoulite’ album along with this music video. The album features six songs in addition to ‘World Tour’, ‘Hold My Hand’, ‘Breathe’, ‘Official’ and “Fxxk Wit Us’. Those are ‘My Star’, ‘Blues’, ‘Passing By’ (which was written by Lee Hi herself), ‘Up All Night’ (feat. TABLO), ‘Video’ (feat. BOBBY) and ‘Missing U’.
