On September 17th, boy group KNK released the MV for their title track, ‘Ride’. The track is part of the quintet’s 3rd mini album, ‘KNK Airline’. Check out the MV down below!
KNK ‘RIDE’ MV:
Lyrically, the song talks about being bewitched by someone and wanting to spend time with them, taking them on ride. The upbeat synth track features a striking beat with a strong vocal-led chorus, overall lending itself to a loud pleasant sound that showcases the group’s abilities.
Moving on to the MV opens with all the members sitting in a luxurious lounge, dressed in button downs waiting to fly as pilots. The video mostly follows with displaying the choreography for the track in different locations. These include a dry desert filled with smoke creating a mysteriously spacious atmosphere; the same desert but at night with the dancers surrounded by a ring of fire; and finally a light-lit empty airport runway. The choreography is smooth, neat and impactful, especially combined with backup dancers and the added fact the five-member group has one of the tallest heights in the K-Pop industry, standing at an average 184.8cm. This literally elevates their choreography making their movements larger, wider and more impressive.
‘KNK Airline’ contains five tracks and is the group’s first mini album since their 2017 reissued release ‘Gravity, Completed’. Ever since they have been releasing single albums. However following an extremely successful crowdfunding campaign on MakeStar for this comeback (reaching their target within 10 minutes and ultimately raising over $110,000), the group has finally returned with more music for fans.
KNK‘s 3rd mini album, ‘KNK Airline’, featuring the title track ‘Ride’, is available now.
