‘JUMP’ production comes to Singapore!
Last weekend, on October 6th, we caught up with the highly raved about, action-packed Korean comedy sensation, ‘JUMP‘. Having performed worldwide in over 152 cities in more than 87 countries, Red Spade Entertainment brought ‘JUMP‘, to Singapore for their 30, 000 th show at Resorts World Sentosa. They delivered a bold, funny and fascinating show set in a typical Korean home, revolving around an average yet dramatically agile family.
The act combined comedy, martial arts and acrobatics all packed in an 80-minute show. There were incredible displays of gymnastic and combat moves with a generous dosage of slapstick humour which entertained the audiences that night.
The show was interactive as the cast mingled with the audience off-stage during the shows and even invited some of them to be part of the show. From the authoritarian grandfather, drunken uncle and Tae Kwon Do savvy mother to the daughter’s suitor, each member was a martial arts expert possessing championship levels of Taekwondo, Taekkyum and butt-kicking moves.
The theatre was filled with hearty laughter from audiences of various ages. It was an honour to watch such talented acts who could pull off complex acrobatic moves while entertaining the audience with their wacky expressions. The show proves that language is no barrier when it comes to having a good time.
We, Officially Kmusic, would like to thank Red Spade Entertainment for bringing ‘JUMP‘ to Singapore and The Orange Press for the opportunity to cover the event.
