Fan-imagined group JBJ have made their long-awaited debut!
The six-member group, made up of Tae Hyun, Dong Han, Sang Gyun, Yong Guk (Longguo), Kenta, and Hyun Bin, were all previously competitors on the second season of Produce 101, and were put together due to persistent pressure from their fans.
‘Fantasy‘ is an intense EDM track with a pumping drum line and captivating bass line. The chorus features a chromatically descending bass line which contrasts with the high register of the vocal line. The hook, sung by Hyun Bin, will be stuck in your head for hours! The track allows every member’s voice to shine, with each solo section standing out from the rest of the song. Members Sang Gyun and Hyun Bin contributed to the lyrics to ‘Fantasy‘!

The music video for ‘Fantasy‘ is beautiful, with a variety of lighting effects and scenes being used to show off JBJ‘s choreography. A number of close-up shots allows viewers to focus on the incredible visuals of each of the six members. The music video constantly switches between light and dark scenes, providing enough contrast to keep the audience captivated until the last seconds of the song.
Despite only being days old, JBJ have been confirmed to perform at the 2017 Asia Artist Awards! JBJ aren’t wasting any time in making the most of their unique opportunity!
On the back of their successful debut with ‘Fantasy‘, it will be interesting to see what heights JBJ can reach during their time together!
