Get ready, fans of Produce 48! The survival show Produce 101 gave us IOI and Wanna One, but this time they took a leap forward by collaborating with AKB48 to make IZ*ONE. The long awaited debut of this group since the finale of Produce 48 has finally been confirmed. They are set to debut on October 29th at 6pm KST. On 15th October, the project girl group released the teaser images for their first mini album ‘COLOR*IZ’. The girls look vibrant in bright colours and elegant clothes.

IZ*ONE is going to be the first group to simultaneously debut in both Korea and Japan. Their debut is one the most anticipated ones of the year because it is a collaboration between Produce 101, which has given us IOI and Wanna One – two of the most successful K-pop groups – and AKB48, the most popular J-pop group. The group has also announced their new reality show ‘IZ*ONE CHU’, which will premier on October 25th.
