With fashion brand Dior revealing a new collection of lipsticks, there could be no other Korean beauty to test them for fashion magazine Vogue Korea than Hyuna.
Mixing her sensual, fun, mature, sexy and fashionable tastes into one pictorial with the colours of the new lip palette from Dior is a pretty hard task to achieve – But in true Hyuna style, she was able to spread her beauty in different styles to accommodate different feelings in her pictorial with Vogue Korea. Each of the photos had their own titles which expressed what feelings Hyuna had behind each look.
SOME LIKE IT HOT
“Red lipstick, more red!” Hyuna grabbed the attention of the reader with the bright and dazzling Dior addict Lacquer Stick ‘757 American Girl‘. With red lipstick being a prominent color and item in some of Hyuna’s lyrics, she wanted to create something that was expressive of herself in which she sees a sexy warrior in a Dior dress.
BEAUTY INSIDE
The Dior addict lacquer stick in ‘674 K-Kiss‘ is a tantalizing colour. According to Dior Makeup Creative and image director Peter Phillips “The product is one of style and inspiration from Korea“. Hyuna also named this lipstick colour as a “love letter look that Dior sent back to Korea“.
SHINE
Vivid color is transparent, so it does not lose its purity, but at the same time it wants to shine brilliantly. Dior’s ‘877 Turn Me Dior‘ is a color chosen by Hyuna to add purity and sensuality to the lips. The moment you decorate your lips with this raspberry pink color and add the classic gold sparkle to your eyes, everyone becomes the hero of the spotlight.
YOUNG ADULT
With the help of Dior’s ‘554 West Coast‘ lipstick, Hyuna shows a transcending youth into adulthood. Earthy hues, natural and light colours, with poignant bright colours truly insinuates a youthful and peaceful outlook to Hyuna’s usual glamorous self.
WILD TALES
Intense dark chocolate-toned lips with milky white skin, Hyuna gives off the appearance of a woman with dominance. Dior’s Addict Lacquer Stick ‘924 Sauvage‘ truly emphasizes the dramatic impression Hyuna wanted by creating a distraction from her eyes and giving the feeling of authority.
