Ga In is finally back with her first full-length album, ‘Ending Again‘, release! This album features 5 track including the title track, ‘Carnival (The Last Day)‘, ‘Carrie (The First Day)‘, ‘Forest of Fireflies‘, ‘Secret‘ and instrumental version of ‘Begin Again‘. This album is filled with jazz and classical genres of music, making each track sound very Disney-like. For her comeback, she also released the music video for ‘Carnival’. Check it out below!
Listeners are struck with a beautiful, yet very dramatic use of string and brass instruments which sets a scenery of elegance and delight. The track builds up to the point that allows viewers to get a grasp of Ga In’s musical side! The sound track for ‘Carnival’ gives listeners a feeling of nostalgia and reminding us of the old time, Broadway musical theme. In particular, the tracks tells a story of a dead woman, who is Ga In, having fun at a carnival. This carnival is seen as her afterlife, where she reminisces the good, old days with her husband. This is evident when Ga In is seen at her funeral with the old man who is perceived to be her husband.
Additionally, her clothes are so cute, especially when she was in the blue outfit that matches with her hat! She looks especially happy when she is around the carnival, enjoying every moment she spends there. Overall, ‘Carnival’ used great color that allows the music video to be nice to look at. It is a very refreshing concept that displays Ga In’s ability to fit in different genres of music!
