D.Holic is a five member girl group from H.mate that debuted last year with “I Don’t Know.” I didn’t particularly like their debut because I felt it depended on their sexy concept too much instead of how they sounded.
They didnt’ blend very well and it was overall ‘meh.’
HOWEVER, this particular comeback, is FANTASTIC. I love the beat, and nothing is over-sexual about it, so I can focus more on how amazing the song is and how well in syn they’ve become.
Great job, ladies.
This is D.Holic’s first mini album and the music video is for their title single, “Chewy.” It contains three versions of the title track, the first in the original Korean and then the other two are in Chinese and Japanese. Other tracks include the intro/outros and “Miss You.”
The music video for “Chewy” starts out outside what I believe is supposed to be a candy shop, moves to a ball pit, pool, and stage. Even though there’s no clear plot, the choreography is sexy, and the girls’ outfits are either cute or sexy, depending on the setting, and there’s dripping…candy involved somewhere in there.
The music video may be hard to wrap my mind around, but the song is on point.
