It seems like the music scene is about to get a little more soulful. ESNA, of the popular YouTube channel ESNAthe Singer is going to be releasing her debut single on August 14th.
Though this is going to be her official debut, ESNA has already been involved in several projects including “Is It Love?” as part of Kesna Music with Kero One, co-authoring the Korean lyrics to “First Love” with Super Junior‘s Donghae (it’s the B-side to “Oppa, Oppa“), writing English lyrics to the song and performing it herself in both languages (watch it in English here and in Korean here).
Now that the time has come for her to have her official solo debut, she has received support and good luck wishes from some very big names including San E, Verbal Jint, Jo Kwon and Gummy just to name a few.
The teaser for the song sounds amazing as well, very typical of her earlier work. Her husky voice is perfectly suited to this soul style of music and the teaser is just long enough to make viewers long for more.
