Fashion magazine Vogue keeps on paying attention to 2NE1’s charismatic leader CL, and after spotting her in the first row at this year’s New York Fashion Week, the magazine has now unveiled a video clip for the rapper’s latest solo release, ‘Hello Bitches.’
The video kicks off with a brave statement: ‘Goodbye NYFW, Hello CL’ and shows a group of world known supermodels, including Victoria Secret’s Angels Taylor Hill and Stella Maxwell, an American hip hop artist and rapper Joey Bada$$, and dancers having fun in the dressing room to CL’s ‘Hello Bitches’ and showing off the best looks of New York Fashion Week.
The magazine praises CL for being courageous enough to wear wild outfits not only on the red carpet, but also in the real world. They wrote, ‘No star is more adept at bringing drama to street style than CL, and over the years her affinity for loud, larger-than-life clothes has made her catnip for photographers during Fashion Week. While most front row attendees show up in something from the corresponding brand, CL manages to choose something that complements not just the aesthetic of the house, but also perfectly encapsulates her own ‘baddest female’ reputation.’
