Hours before the actual comeback and release of Loen Entertainment‘s darling and adorable IU‘s 4th mini-album “CHAT-SHIRE” on the 23rd of October, Uaenas and us as well, didn’t expect that she would be releasing another teaser. At midnight of October 22, IU surprised everyone with yet another unique and unimaginable teaser for her title track “Twenty-three“.
Don’t be confused guys and gals, this is not the song from the hit South Korean drama series from KBS 2TV, “The Producer” “23“, where IU is one of its main casts along with Cha Tae Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin and Kim Soo Hyun, but actually just have a similar name with “Twenty-three”. Bit confusing right? But don’t worry, “23” song from from “The Producer” drama series will be part of the mini-album purely as a bonus track along with “Heart“.
Now, the music video is really simple at first look, but let us warn you and better brace yourself. Wearing a lovely blue dress with a red ribbon on it(made me wonder that it somehow resembles Disney‘s animated character Snow White’s blue dress and her red ribbon as headdress), she walks slowly towards a table with a simple cake with a candle shaped as “23” on top of it. Twenty-three is IU’s actual age in Korea by the way. After blowing the light from the candle, she suddenly says, “Question! Guess what this is.”

Now, did you expect that to happen? We bet not! Better be prepared for her comeback and 4th mini-album digital release on October 23 at midnight and be releasing its physical album on the 27th this month. The mini-album have 7 tracks, having “Twenty-three” as its title track plus 2 bonus tracks, “23” and “Heart”.
She will also be holding a a national concert tour at the Olympic Park, Olympic Hall in Seoul on November 21st and 22nd, followed by Busan, Daegu and Gwangju as part of its album launch campaign for her 4th mini-album “CHAT-SHIRE”.
