Almost ten months since their last comeback, Happy Tribe Entertainment’s Boys Republic are releasing their third mini album on March 30th.
The five member group has done a lot of different concepts since their debut in June of 2013. From boyfriend to party rockers to Victorian men, Onejunn, Sunwoo, Sungjun, Minsu, and Suwoong have done a lot; and now they are taking on a darker role. Donned in a tribal punk image, Boys Republic is looking very mysterious and exotic for their new comeback.
‘[BR:evolution]’ will have five tracks to it, including a solo track by the leader, Onejunn, who is known for his soothing vocals. The group released the tracklist on their Facebook on March 22nd.
Listening to their highlight medley, you would see why they concept is as extreme as it is. The title track ‘Get Down’ is more rock than they have done in the past, while the rest of the album is their signature sound that the Royal Family has grown to love.
I was super excited to find out that Boys Republic was coming back, but you would would not believe my face when I saw their concept for this album. I cannot wait to see what else is in store. What do you think about their new look? We want to know all about it.
