On April 19th, the famous girl group APink completed five years since their debut, and in order to celebrate it, they’ve released a very special video for their Pink Pandas.
The music video for ‘The Wave’ shows the tragetory of APink through these five years, mixing videos from concerts and with cute shots of the members. Check it out:
APink debuted in 2011 with the EP ‘Seven Springs of Apink’, which contained two title tracks: ‘I Don’t Know’ and ‘It Girl’. Back then, they used to be a seven member girl group, but Yookyung left in 2013 in order to focus on her studies. Their first comeback with the current formation was in 2013 with ‘NoNoNo’.
APink was already known in Korea, especially because Eunji had taken the major role of Si Won in ‘Reply 1997’, but their career surely took off after ‘NoNoNo’. The girls started to win many music shows in every comeback, and are now one of the most famous girl groups of South Korea.
In 2015, they held their first concert ‘Pink Paradise’, which was a complete success. For the past few months, the girls have not released new songs as a group, since their company was focusing on Eunji’s solo song, but now they’ve released this special song as a gift to their belvoed fans who have been with them for so long.
